While Mark Martin will be in Bristol for NASCAR’s Car of Tomorrow test this week, Rea White says he’s content not to race there. If Martin sits out the March 25 race, Ryan McGee says Jeff Gordon will have the longest current streak of consecutive starts.

Nextel Cup rookie David Reutimann’s crash at California Speedway left him so sore that “everything hurts, down to my eyeballs and my teeth.”

Reutimann wrecked with six laps to go in Sunday’s race at California when he was tapped by Greg Biffle, sending him crashing into the wall in one of the hardest hits NASCAR has ever seen.
